Abstract

This paper will address issues related to the study of the body and corporeality from a phenomenological perspective, establishing the idea of a corporeal and, at the same time, aesthetic origin of Bombal's characters. At the same time, it seeks to understand the body-bodily as an ontological and aesthetic category through which it is possible to construct the dynamics present in the work of María Luisa Bombal, from the perspective of the different subjectivities present in the characters of the story La historia de María Griselda, especially those that point to the conformation of a feminine identity.
