Abstract
Gender equality should be a key element of responsible research and innovation, however, despite the common underlying objectives of fostering an inclusive, transparent and sustainable research environment, in practice there is a tendency towards bias.
This research represents a first exploration of the interrelationships between gender and Marine and Aquaculture Sciences, analyzing the scientific production of researchers at the Instituto de Fomento Pesquero de Chile.
